Course Explanation


Projects In Controlled Environments (abbreviated as PRINCE™) is the de facto standard set by the UK Government and applied widely in the private sector also. With its focus on business justification, product-based approach and wide applicability to a variety of projects, PRINCE2™ seems to be the way to improve both your project management skills and prospects of employment.

Intended for beginners, the Foundation course helps you understand the principles and terminologies of PRINCE2™ with an emphasis on outlining the purpose and content of the project, including its input and output, the processes and the sub-processes, the components and the techniques. Many institutions offer a valid PRINCE2™ Foundation course lasting 3 days, with an exam at the end of the course. The course can be done online also.

You are expected to study all the pre-read material provided by us, this will prepare you to pursue the course.

  • The relationship between a project and its Business Case.
  • Detailed explanation of the PRINCE2™ processes, components and techniques.
  • Roles and associated tasks and responsibilities, within a PRINCE2™ project.
  • Structure and contents of a product focused project plan.
  • The management of a project relative to the project plan.
  • Definition, management and acceptance of work packages.


Examinations:

  • PRINCE2™ Foundation exam consist of 75 multiple choice questions. It is an hour long exam conducted at the end of third day. (100% Pass Rate)
